Who I Am

Hello! I’m Shannon Robinson, a lifelong musician, music educator, and composer based in the Philadelphia area. I compose music that captures emotional arcs and supports immersive storytelling, drawn from a background in traditional composition and guided by a passion for the inventive and new. I am inspired by the games I love like Nine Sols, Undertale, and Outer Wilds. 

I earned a Master’s in Music Theory and Composition from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in Music from Rowan University. In addition to composing, I teach music theory, recording arts, and instrumental lessons to a diverse and vibrant community of LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent students ages 10–20.
