Who I Am

Hello! I’m Shannon Robinson — a lifelong musician, educator, and composer based in the Philadelphia area. I compose music that supports emotional and immersive storytelling. Drawing from my classical training and a passion for innovation, I am inspired by the games I love like Nine Sols, Undertale, and Outer Wilds. I believe music creates and deepens empathy, and empathy creates change. 

I hold a Master’s in Music Theory and Composition from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in Music from Rowan University. Alongside composing, I teach music theory, recording arts, and instrumental lessons to a diverse and vibrant community of LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent students, ranging from elementary school musicians to college-bound artists.
